Marken is a small village on a former island that is also called Marken. It still has a fishing-village vibe with an old-world character. Its gabled timber houses are painted in shades of black and green. It’s just 45 minutes away from Amsterdam.

How to get here

By public transport

Take EBS bus 315 from railway station Amsterdam Centraal to Marken. The bus ride takes about 35 minutes. See the website of EBS for more information and a special day ticket.
